This year's ASC Speaker of the Year is Esther Rantzen OBE. Ms Rantzen is a household name, famous for hosting the popular 'That's Life' programme on the BBC in the 70'S. Ms Rantzen is also distinguished for her charitable causes, most famously for founding the charity Childline. She is still a regular broadcaster and a first class speaker.
Ms Rantzen will be presented with her award at a Gala dinner in her honour on Saturday 14th of October at the Victoria Thistle Hotel, Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1W 0SJ (8pm start).
Tickets are priced £39 which is incredibly inexpensive for a meal at a quality hotel in central London.
